Ashley Blackstone

Hi my name is Ashley Blackstone and I want to thank you for visiting our site. I have been an ACE certified fitness trainer for over 10 years. My primary goal is to make exercise most of all safe, effective, practical, and, yes, even fun. My clients always come first. If you look and feel good, then so do I. This is very important to me. I have been privileged with a successful career and a loyal clientele. I attribute this success to my compassion, work ethic, ability to individualize goals and exercise routines.

I have worked with a diverse clientele. They have ranged in age between 10 and 88 years old. I have trained people with health issues including obesity, chronic back pain, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, fibromialgia, arthritis, post surgical, etc. Also, I have worked with pregnant women, and, I have trained and coached recreational and competitive athletes in various sports.

My training encompasses various aspects of fitness with an emphasis on muscular strength/endurance, cardiovascular health, abdominal/core work, flexibility and functional training. I like to keep the workouts interesting and current. In my training, I incorporate machines, free weights, bands, TRX trainers, BOSU trainers, medicine balls, and plyometrics. Creativity in workout design is one of my strong points; therefore, you will never do the same workout twice. You WON’T be bored!!

Negativity and poor attitudes are discouraged in the studio, especially during the workouts. They are a time to focus on yourself and the positive atmosphere in which you are in. Most of my clients love the environment, and they graciously endure the workouts and come back for more. Working out with a trainer can be a very enlightening, empowering and educating experience. I love training and I feel honored to have a job I look forward to going to everyday. I believe your health and physical improvement are my first priority. I promise to do my job in the gym, and, if you want results, you will have to do your part outside the gym. In reference to the frequently asked question, ’what should I eat?,’ I offer nutritional counseling and refer clients to a dietician and/or a nutritionist for professional and detailed meal plans.
